Doctor's conclave & Pledge with DAFOH
3rd Nov | Taj Lands End, Mumbai

Organ trafficking and forced organ harvesting is one of the cruelest forms of trafficking and slavery. With organ tourism on the rise, accounting for almost 10% transplants in the world, it is essential for the medical fraternity to draw and implement strong ethical and technical guidelines to curb organ trafficking and harvesting.

DAFOH or Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting, a network of doctors and surgeons who concern themselves with ending the practice of coercive organ transplantation, along with Nobel Peace Prize winners, Medecins Sans Frontieres, will be a part of a panel discussion at Harmony International Conference and MTMA 2019.

Medical fraternity post the discussion will be invited to take a pledge for ‘Zero tolerance to organ trafficking.’
